Premium quality long grain parboiled rice. Grade: US no. 1, less than 4% breakage, never sticks, puffs up 3 times its size when cooked, non-GMO, allergen-free, gluten-free. Same quality as popular brands. Also called ''Converted'' or ''Conditioned''. Number 1 rice in food service. Healthier than pure white rice since golden parboiled rice is the result of parboiling (parboiling) whole grain brown rice, infusing the parboiled rice grain with bran nutrients coating the brown rice, while the rice white is the result of polishing that completely removes the bran and its nutrients.

Suggested Presentation
Serve as an accompaniment to any dish. Perfect in pilafs, salads and hot tables since it does not stick. Use in soups and desserts (pudding).

Packaging and storage
Food grade polyethylene bag. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Preparation and cooking
For 1 cup of rice, boil 2 cups of water (or broth). Add salt, spices, oil, to taste. When the liquid boils, stir in the rice, stir once, cover, reduce the heat to low and cook for about 20 minutes. Gently stir with a fork when ready. Add less water (1.5 cups for 1 cup of rice) for firmer rice. Optional: Rinse rice before use to remove excess starch.
